Shari R. Sears is a dedicated author, motivational speaker, and community leader with a deep passion for uplifting others. A retired Army veteran with 23 years of honorable service, Shari brings a strong sense of discipline, resilience, and commitment to every endeavor she pursues.

Throughout her military career, she exemplified leadership and dedication, qualities that continue to define her journey beyond service.

A lifelong learner, Shari holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland and has recently received her Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction. Her faith in God serves as the cornerstone of her life, guiding her in her mission to inspire and bring joy to those around her. She firmly believes in the power of kindness, embracing the principle: “It is nice to be nice because you never know when it may be your turn.”

Shari has recently discovered her passion for writing, aspiring to become an author who not only connects with readers but also inspires them through her storytelling and insights. Her dedication to making a difference is reflected in her literary accomplishments, having authored four books and been featured on the cover of Black Diamond and Success 2 Success Magazines. Recognized for her impact, she has received the Phenomenal Woman 2025 Award for her contributions to the community and her role as a motivational speaker.

With a heart for service, Shari actively engages in community outreach and advocacy, using her voice to encourage and empower those around her.
